I just saw this thread come up in a search, so I thought I would confirm that NIVI function is restored when you move the pins as above - and in referenced thread - and change coding in CIC so NIVI and TV are both at "wert_21". TVC stays at "255" and TVM is "kein_TVM" This worked for my US-spec car that came with Night Vision as OEM but no TV Tuner option (like the cars in Europe might have...).

Could I please clarify that E91 CIC will not snap-fit Pre-LCI E60?

do you know if the front panel from e60 LCI MASK unit can be retrofitted to CIC as it looks identical?

i have been trying to get this to work after a CIC retrofit, and i just can not get night vision to work. i have changed the pin location, but if the following does not work, i will triple check that i did it right.

i was hoping someone could confirm the following nomenclature for these settings.

i can not find a NIVI only in the CIC, but in other posts around the webs i think it is called NVC, is this correct?

the only NIVI's i have found are:
MACRO_NIVI
aktiv
MACRO_NIVICAM_I_DISCLAIMER
ld_mit_timeout
NIVI_2_OBJ_DETETECTION
nicht_aktiv

i have changed NVC and TV to wert_21

TVC is set to wert_255

i could not find a TVM, but could fine a TVM_VARIANTEN and i did set that to kein_tvm that is the only TVM in the CIC i could find.

i have confirmed that these settings are in the CIC after pulling another .TRC file from the CIC.
