DIY Window Switch change out with folding mirror button

After having some m5 mirrors installed, I eventually had my car coded to have the fob key fold the mirrors in (thanks Rizbel). The only problem I had is that you couldn't fold the mirrors while the car was in motion. I ended up buying a new window switch panel with a folding mirror button.
The Old
The new one I bought
I had to take the door panel off to get to this part.
-First disconnect the negative on your battery!!!
-Remove the torx screw under the airbag and a phillip screw towards the back middle of the door
-use a door panel removal tool or get ghetto and use a flat head to pop it out.
-pull the door towards you and if you hear a pop and sounds like you broke something, it's just the door grip bracket. Don't worry, you didn't break it.
There are 3 nuts behind the door trim and 2 nuts behind the window switch panel.
You have to loosen the door panel trim in order to get the window panel switch out. There is a lip that folds under the door trim.
Install the new one and screw in the 2 nuts behind the door. Don't forget to hook your wires back up.
When you put the door trim back on, you have to take out the grip bracket attached to the door by squeezing the metal clip with some pliers and pulling out the grip bracket. Install it back onto the back of the door panel before popping it all back on. Don't forget to run the light wires back through the holes and put your lights back on. Once your screws are back on, reconnect the battery and test it out.

Thanks. It took about 15 mins take it off and put it back together. You don't have to take the door panel off completely. I had it hanging by the wires and the door lock. You could use something to support the door if your not as daring as me to let it hang there. 
Great! Now that it's proven plug-n-play, I need to find a BMW part # 61316951919.

Nice DIY. I have 3 questions.
1) How can I unplug the negative wire from battery. I don't know where is the battery?
2) If I open the door panel, does the airbag keep safe and not-open? How about the error for airbag disconnection on computer?
3) Mine is same as you? what is the color? Gray or Beige?

I thought they don't fold above a certain speed anyway? (I know they open automatically if you drive off with the mirrors in the folded position)
