I think he actually wants it to be dimmer, and have it at full brightness when braking.
The way I have modded is different than that, since I prefer it to be at full brightness at all times.

good job Ricky , my advise in this retrofit : if you take a V12 signal from the number plate light , then your Tailights bars will always be as bright as the OEM LCI all the time ,, not only when you brake
I've done mine 2 years ago , I've taken the brake signal from the third brake light , I found the wires under the rear seat ,

Awesome mod man! Looks perfect. Always hated the brake lights on LCI taillights, they completely break the "angel wings" effect.
1 - Too bad it's illegal in Europe
2 - You also break the two-phase panic braking with this mod. But your brake lights seem very bright anyway.

I think SAFETY is first. Sometimes people with modding runout to nonsense I see !
The fog lights are very bright and you dont have to scary or blind other drivers !!!!
Just install LCI taillights (without blinking christmas tree)and do good coding and you dont need any resistors to fry the eggs in your boot.
And make the streets safe.

Do you can tell me more about your retrofit, you say "do good codind" can you give details?
You don't use additional module i.e Bruce Miranda or other cable?
Sorry for my bad English!
