Scroll through it. You'll see the center console switch is behind the glovebox. A862.
I read that post its still very confusing, do we know exactly where the two wires run too in the LCI?

Thanks for the reply!

My car is from Jan/2004.

I don't know if it is caused by any of the other retrofits, but's it's unlikely, because if it was disturbing the wires, one would think that something else should be having errors right?

best regards
I have all the parts i found a junked lci e60 with the parcel shelf, doorpanel switch, and sundblind motor.. I got all the parts for a steal, but when trying to install my mechanic told that my connecting pins were to small to fit the electronic module..It was the same part number that you listed that we were using..Any idea on what next?

Slot 19 and 20 on the X16920 plug that plugs into the A862 Center console switch.

Maybe LCI needs coding.

I have the sunblind. I have changed the panel in the door with one with the sunblind switch.
I want to connect the cables from the sunblind to the place from connector 4 (see picture in the beginning of this topic). Unfortunately, I am not having this connector. Where does it come from ? Can I connect the + and - to the connectors and the sunblind to 7 and 8? will it work than?
thanx

Any help with the pinnout for this little bugger? Pin numbers & colours, please?

I did mine last year, I brought the complete alcantara interior from a salvaged m5 installed all the pieces , ie pillars front middle and rear , mirrors, headliner and parcel shelf, I did not want to rewire and purchase the center console as all the interior pieces cost me 1100 dollars. So what it did was I got a e 39 blind switch, yeah the large one and I placed it in the center armrest console at the rear seats vents , there is a punch out that that the switch fits right in. I do have to reach behind to raise and lower 1 push up 1 push down but it's perfect and the alcantara looks awesome. I can take pics if anyone is interested in my mod
