DIY for changing oil?
Oil used by BMW is Castrol TXT, part synthetic.
Oil change intervals are 10000km odd for diesels and 12000km odd for petrol cars.

DIY'ers,
I finally made it to the 16,200 mile odo reading and it was time for another oil change. BMW changed it under regular maintenace around 11,000 and some change.
I did take detailed pictures, this time around and was wondering what the best way to post a do it yourself write up with pictures. I have over 50 pictures, but of course, I am going to condense and edit these.
I was thinking about putting a powerpoint presentation together, showing the step by step instructions and pictures.
Is there any better alternatives using this forum, than powerpoint? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Here are a couple of angles, you don't see of your e60, everyday.
Regards, Mike.

Perhaps because Streak's car is a diesel, the oil change interval is more frequent than that of gasoline engines.
