Azstar did getting the 800 MHz sort you central locking issues out
It's just I think I have done the same as u I went and brought a 300
MHz aerial when I needed a 800 one. So just wanted to find out
Wether it ended up working for u before I shed some more money.

Curmudgeon mentioned this a couple years ago but anyone looking to replace the diversity antenna should definitely try cleaning the contacts. I used 91% isopropyl alcohol to thoroughly clean the metal "fingers" on both the car and the diversity antenna. My radio is now back to working 100%. Whereas I would literally get only one station before, I now get all stations that I should. Worth a shot before blowing $150+ on a replacement part.

Mine started to play up over the last few weeks and i couldnt take it anymore, i thought i would whip out mine and give the contacts a clean, i cleaned them with good old cif/jif cream cleaner on the end of a cotton bud, did the same with the connections on the car. i actually pulled out the little fingers very carefully upwards to give a better connection. Thought i would try this before wasting money on a new one, RESULT! Good as new works every time on time and from half way down the road!

Great posts! While my FM reception is still good, my remote range however has been significantly reduced from when I first got the car. Would it be the diversity antenna? I'm going to try cleaning the contacts first.
