I did it and trust me when I say it was really bad to remove the sticky tape material after pulling the numbers/letter out. I had to take my car to a professional cleaner to finish the job and in the end, there is still a mark on/in the paint that outlines the model number.

Good luck, you will need it.

cheers

Dental floss with the wax on it, then you just go at a angle and pull, Get some goo b gone and WD40 and some cloths(microfiber), the whole idea is not to scratch the surface, spray the WD first and pad the the area dont wipe, you want the area soaked, then on the same cloth or new one soak the cloth with the goo b gone and pad the area and let set for a min or soo then with a finger nail or equivlant start removing, if you see the area getting dry hit it with the WD and some more Goo b gone, Once you have the area done get another microfiber, some soapy water (car soap or dawn) and wash and dry the area, then clay then hand polish!

when polishing make sure you go up down left right, no circles
