dealer wants $500 to replace strut brace bracket

I think that is the bracket but I am not sure.

why dont you just pop your hood open and inspect the brace? grab it and see if its loose.

I tried that not loose. I will try to tighten the bolts to see if they are the right torque

I just called the dealer parts department he gave me two part numbers 51617046555 $49 and bracket 51617010593 $20.41. that is the same thing in this link. I want to thank everyone for their help. I am going tighten the bolts first to see if my noise goes away. My orignal broblem is that when I make a turn I hear a thud. This is why the dealer came up with this. It has been very hot here in Maryland 105 today as soon as it goes dowm I will mess with it and do an update.
