comfort access key fob battery replacement?

it doesnt look like the back of my kety can come off...but looks exactly like your key...

Do you have comfort access? Does the back of your key look just like the one in the illustration/pics? It could be that you don't have comfort access which means the battery is not replaceable (it recharges itself instead.)

This was useful. It's so weird that you pay excess money to find that you need to replace batteries. I drove for 10 miles to charge up before reading this post to find out that wouldn't work. I wish BMW atleast had this mentioned on their comfort access page, to make customers life easier.
