Thank you Presley348 !!

The problem is that i donīt know to solder the smal leds in the electric part inside de speedmeter.
I'm a fraid to make some mistake and ruin the part, and then i will have big problem.

Does anyone usa that company Lamobilia to do this change in speedmeter?

I wanted my speedmeter, to be just like the M5 speedmeter, not with ligh white light, just like stock M5 light.

Does anyone open an true M5 speedmeter and see if the inside plastic is white color? Whys is the members paiting the inside plastic white?

Best refards

the M5 actually has silver/white gauge color on the backing. I have it and it looks just like the ones I mod. People paint / cover it white to mimic the M5 dials.

Hey guys, it's been awhile.
Got a new car and while I do the mod, I'm going to put together a DIY along the way for the e90 guys (giving due credit here of course).
Couple Q's:
Is disconnecting the battery necessary? (I'm lazy)
Will the cluster test realign the needles? Instructions anywhere? OR Any other sure way to get them 100% perfect after the mod?
Thanks!
