Should work or very close to, I worked this mod for E90 3er before.

6er and 5er cluster should be the same so they will work

Damn that is tight, looks like a job i would pay someone to do. Definitely could mess that up if you didn't do it right. Awesome stuff!!!

I can definitely help with that service. I just finished a cluster last week and shipped it back to him. I'm waiting for him to post pics. Let me know if you are interested in doing this mod.

Hey guys. Thanks for the great DIY. I finished my cluster a couple hours ago and it looks great! Aside frmo the 8 white LED's, it features:

- Yellow RPM Limiter (paper from a vivid yellow colored sticky note cut to size)
- Black Cruise Control Marker (white sticker painted black with a black sharpie)
- Grey/Aluminum background (spray paint)
- Red needles (using a sharpie)

The Speedo is a couple milimeters off and doesn't align exactly with zero when the car is turned off, but that's ok for now I guess.
