Correct me if im wrong. If i only want to change the LED-s, i dont need to get the dials off? I just replae the LED-s and paint the dials on top, and that's it? If so, it seems like doable, and i think im going for it:-)

you will need to take the dials off or you can not get to the led lights

yes they are not stick on so it should come come.
I used a card to rest the tweezers on to push it up so it dose not scratch the black dial.

One more question, how do i know, how to put the dial on, so it will be exactly on zero position? Same thing on the bottom plates (the ones for cruise and engine temp indicator).

Are these LED-s ok? : LED-s

Sorry about the language on the website, but the spec-s are understandable.

for the main plate just plug in the power back on but dont install the cluster just yet.
and the dial will go to 0 and then turn it off again and put the 2 main needles back on.
you will have to put back the needle by eye.
it same for the for the small 1s

connect the cluster without needle; without cover, turn your key to position 2 and then turn off. All dial in zero position, Now put your needle back.

I have brought the LED-s (the price was around 5-6 USD for 10pcs. :-)).
About the needle, does it have a separate LED, if so, why not change it too to red and no painting needed?
If these can not be changed, what is the best way to colour the needles:
1. on the current white paint with marker
2. scrape off the white and then marker
3. use a red tape instead of marker
