I was having a conversation with member in another forum. He had someone do this mod for him and color his needles, but he said that the red finish on the needles looks really bad now. I suspect that the person who did the needles scraped off the white with a blade. Personally, I colored rite over the white because I was worried that removing the white would leave an uneven surface. Although, I think my method may not be as bright as when the white is removed and then the color is applied.
- What other methods has everyone else been using?
- Also, what did you all use for the white & orange sticker on the backplate?
I scraped off the white with a scalpel but very gently so as not to score the plastic, and they look perfect and light up pretty bright.

Have a look at my picture posted earlier.

So you Cluster-modding Guru's out there, I'd like to know what happens with the temperature-bar in the LCI-models, as far as I know, it will not disappear when the engine turns warmer. What do you do with the temperature bar? Do you paint it yellow aswell?
Is anyone of you located in Germany,so that I can send it to to him to work it out for me?

Did anyone add the //M - badge in the right rev-meter? Is there any source where to get this badge?
Greetings from cold and rainy germany,

Ivano

lord of Mod, I ask thee...
grant me a steady hand...
Done!! Wasn't difficult really. Just make sure LEDs are working after soldering. They should dimly light up when diode checking with a multimeter.

All I did was color the dials with a marker(red Pilot), just the top side, and change LEDs to white. I need to repaint the smaller dials.
