Hi,
I don't know this diagnose tool.
I bought yesterday the BMW Carsoft 6.5SP1.1 diagnostic tool on Ebay.
So I will try to report you if the tool is very useful or not.

Bye.

The May 06 Roundel has a pretty in-depth review of 10 ODBII and / or fault code detectors and reset in this issue. It is about 11 pages lonf. None of the products mentioned including Rudy's link were included. The Roundel article was specific to BMW use upthrough a 2003 525i. I do not know if any were specific to use on newer BMWs with the MOST bus (for OBDII it really does not matter).

I do not have time to scan the article now but I can list the products.

AST PC Retriever V5.0 (OBDII and BMW - computer and hardware based)
Autologic (OBDII, BMW, and others)
AutoEnginuity (OBDII computer based and PDA based)*
Baum V-Scan, I-Scan, Datascan (OBDII, BMW, and others)
Baum Basic (OBDII only)*
Innova 3100 Digital OBDII Code reader*
Peake Research - R5/SRS (SRS code reader and reset device)
Peake Research - R5/fcx, version 2 (OBDII and BMW)
Snap-on Tools Solus (OBDII, BMW and others)
X431 Launch (OBDII, BMW and others)

* = ODBII only
