Actually you can do this with NCSexpert if you have the LM2. But you will have to do both head and tail lights and buy and install a cable from BMW.

Quick question
I want to add something to the FA (VO) list (for the first time).
Do I load the normal PSW FSW MAN profile or expertmode profile ?
any other tips/warnings?

OK, so added SA616 (online) to the FA list and activated :
CAPPL
ONLINE
aktiv
ONLINE_DISABLE_CONTENT
content_enable
ONLINE_DISABLE_VMAX
standard
SIM
aktiv
ONLINE_CALLSTRATEGY
use_csd_paketdata
Result is partial success - I'm not sure if ONLINE is available in Holland but I can't get past the "accept" button. When i press it I get this message: tel not available - although my cell phone is clearly connected.

Aside from that - how does one initialize BMW Assist?

You need to have a valid assist and connected drive account first, heres a litle food for thought, I disabled my online and then retrofitted it with progman and it added SA 616 plus SA613 internet services to the vehicle order and coded both CAPPL and TCU.

I didn't check, but since I added 613 and 616 should I see a TCU module in NCS now?

What blue tooth have u got?, basic (MULF) or bluetooth and telematics (TCU). mine has worked from the day i discovered it, theres a post about it on here some where. I just wanted to what the official retrofit did.
