Thanks all for the great responses! Will get my friend to come over soonest and add +KMP3 to the FA and enable next_source. Will report back if this has fixed it. Thanks once again.

Oh p.s., can someone post the exact procedure on how to add to the FA as I've lost that file I had it in. Cheers.

Ok so he drove the 1,5 hours again this evening.
I succesfully added +KMP3 to the FA for both the CAS and LMA module. See the FA.TRC:
Code:
E60_#0103&LCSW%0A08$169$205$216$226$235$2RA$302$415$438$441$442$502$508$522$524$534$540$548$563$609$620$638$672$785$818$851$863$877$886$896$915*NC71+B110+KMP3
But still he cannot play MP3 cd's and I still cannot program anything into the CAPPL module!!?? I can program fine into any other module's. So could it be the software version in the CAPPL module that won't allow it? I have no clue what I can do....

What profile are you using? Expertmode will only allow certain things to be changed. The fsw_psw profile will pretty much let you do anything.

I found the mp3 function to be a little strange, when I changed it to full the first time I had to effectively shut the car down for it to take hold.

Some changes require the car to go to "sleep" before they work. Some do not.

I understand and we have sung multiple lullaby songs, but no go. To be serious. It doesn't even get that far. I program the CAPPL module and immedaitely read it back but it defaults back to the previous setting....

And I really think that there's something wrong. Either in the way you're coding, your files, or set up wrong.

You're the only person I have heard to have these issues.

you then have to code the car (or at least CAPPL, CGATE, CTUNE, and the two other CCC apps I can't remember) for the CCC to get coded to the new FA. Also, you might need to do the three-finger salute on the CCC (both ejects and the volume knob- restarts CCC)
