Thanks AchtungE60!

For those that have a working version of INPA the battery registration on E60 can be accomplished by following these steps:

From Main Menu GO TO: E60 > Engine > MSD 80.0 > Status Analog/Digital (F5) > IBS - Powermanagement (F5) > Batterietaush registrierne (F5)(battery registration in German).

I hope this helps anyone looking for this information especially if you have a later model car (post 2005).

I think for 2005 models, the battery registration is located under Micro Power Module. You would need to go into Body, than Micro Power Module, and the look around under sub menus (maybe Activate button?). I can't really say for sure since my car is a 2007.

Is there anyone else here with a working copy of INPA and an older car that can provide this info for lcc014?

I have 2004 and it was pretty much F5 all the way through LOL.
I just seen this thread popup in another thread. If there are other things in INPA that I can help with just let me know and I'll start another INPA thread (if there isn't one already)

Nice! That's the one I was looking at too. So, it works fine with the INPA and other software?

Most likely it will not. Depends what your manufacturing month is. Personally I've had two bad experiences with cheap ass cables and I stay FAR away. Using Progman to align EWS - DME I had 12 aborts and couldnt figure out why. Bought a good cable and BAM! 2010 update on an 03 vehicle.

Cable needs to be an EDIABAS INPA cable. Period. Or will not work appropriately.
