Hi guys,

Can anyone please tell me where i can get the speed sensor wire too install alpine navigation on a 2005 e60.

I don't think you need one. We (benchmarkmotoring.com) just installed an Alpine NVE872A into an 2006 525i and ran it into the factory Idrive screen with no problem.

you need it or it wont know your exact location at all times.

I know you need one, but you don't need to buy one. Your VSS wire is located behind the instrument cluster.

What if your are not using the TV tuner and running it all to a alpine TME M740 BT?

Wow.. are you talking about the tvandnav2go unit that Dominic was selling? What do you mean exactly by wakeup? Is there a special part to make it wakeup? You have to manually switch over to Video 1 in order to use the Alpine right?
