I have yet to see anything on my map. The only way I see TI so far is clicking the triangle with the I in it. Then it lists the traffic problems and how far away they are. I drive a pretty rural route though.

545felix: Mine is not working. You have RDS? I can't seem to get RDS to work on my CCC. If I could get my RDS working, I might be able to get TMC.

TMC seems to go through FM RDS according to this Wiki.

I have a 2004 530i with CCC, FM radio with RDS, no HD, no Sirius.
I have the newer CCC software (silver background).
ISTA/P 40.3, upgraded on Feb 18. 2011

The RTTi activation worked for me.

CID / I-Drive Display shows "TI"
Navigation map view:
- Traffic icons on map
- Map options -> Route Preference -> Dynamic Route
- Map options -> Traffic Info

Navigation menu also includes Traffic Info, after Address Book, Information.

Found these pictures online...

(select for details)

Blastiwi gave me access to the Google Docs spreadsheet. I can get to it, but still only view-only mode.

Great find. I'll most definitely have to check this out.
In the meantime, see my other post..https://5series.net/forums/topic/117406-3d-mapping/

This would be very nice if it were to work. I wonder why there is a bunch of stuff in CAPPL that's not enabled which are great features....Ridiculous.

Uh, you guys are awesome! I just saw all these wonderful things everyone is doing and I am buying a cable soon. I feel like I've been living under a rock...

Does anyone recommend updating the CIC firmware prior to coding? Will I miss out on any features without having the latest firmware or are they hardware specific?

Also notice plain bubble symbols on map wgere speed enforcement are active (mobile and fixed). I also get a voice warning when approaching traffic incident on my navigation route.
