Hi,
If you haven't solved your problem yet, I will try to help you. First of all tell us what car have you got - year/month of production, engine etc, as the pre LCI is a broad term, and there were some variations in the wiring throughout the years . Secondly find out what car did your LCI panel come from, as this is important as well. Some cable sin 18 pin plug need to be swapped around, but first provide all of the above information.

Regards, Ark.

Hi Guys

Sorry to dig up an old post i retrofitted my LCI high panel last night following Bood's original post, my problem is now my engine fan is running full speed when i start up the car.

My pre LCI 2006 530D only came with 2 plugs so i ordered the blue plug(x1527) and double black plug(x13765), i followed Bloods instructions and everything works nice after all the coding is done except for the engine fan being on.

My question is even though i had to make up the wires for the double black plug(x13765) from pins 10 and 18, do i still have to cut the wire from pin 21 and connect them also to the double plug (X13765)

Please help
Thanks in advance
