530 Spark plug change
#21
Thanks Lawr for the write up! I used it yesterday and it was of great help. I attached some pics I took to add to this great thread. If anyone is wondering about which plugs to use on the N52, the part numbers are:
NGK PLZFR6A11S
BOSCH FR7NPP332
I used the NGKs and my idle is MUCH smoother now compared to the OEM Bosch that were in there from the factory.

I tried posting the DIY up on here, but I guess photobucket images aren't allowed. I'll have to find out what works on this forum for hosting pictures. What do you guys use?
Anyway, I have two options to view the write up I did. One is if you PM your email, I can send you a word document that has everything typed out, but the pictures are all linked so you have to click the link to view the pictures. The second option is to go to this site and see it, I'm not sure if it will display properly though, but we'll see. Sorry again, I typed this up really quickly.

Great write up! I want to change mine but can I use this DIY for my 545? If not, can someone lead me to a good write up? thanks...

Hard to tell by the photo, but they don't look too off of what mine were like. I've heard of that too, some people having NGK's in their cars while others had the Bosch. I'm sure both work perfectly fine. When I get time, I may transfer everything over to this post so you don't have to click to an external link to view the DIY. I figured out why it wasn't letting me post pictures at first. I'll probably edit one of my first replies to this thread to keep it in the beginning. Thanks guys for all the kind words, I appreciate it!

Anybody experience harder starts after a plug change? I went from the BMW NGKs to Bosch Platinum iridiums and I notice it doesn't start as quick. sometimes I think it won't.

I had already made a new thread with all the pics from my DIY, since the website went down.
