What is your build date date? If I remember right, some time in '04 there is an approximate month where your car will need either a software or hardware update....

my car 2004/january and I installed BMW's own ipod adapter. Installation tooks about two hours and it requires coding.
I'm not sure if ipod adapter will work with CD-changer, because I didn't have it...
But the ipod adapter itself is working fine.

I do not really know right now as I am deployed in Iraq right now. I know it is a 2004 though.I am looking for all of the answers for the ideas I have for when I get home. I appriciate everyones knowledge with these cars.
