I've got three layers of Vintage on mine and I CANNOT believe that I didn't get Zymol before.... Bonkers!

I used Zymol on my Porsches for 15 years. It looks wonderful after you're done, but I got tired of the application/removal effort and terrible durability. It's great for a garage queen, but not for a daily driver. A few years ago I switched to One Grand Blitz wax, and love it. Great carnauba depth of color and shine, easy on and off (apply to entire car then buff off) and it last a very long time (3 months or more).

The thing about this amazing enzyme Zymol is that you need to do layer after layer after layer to build up the wax for that really deep deep look. As well as added durability.

If parked in shaded areas durability is not an issue. Only Zymol can give this kinda look...and aroma too.

looks good, but after reading thru autopia and other detailing forums i have heard zymol is mostly overpriced and doesnt last long. comment?

does anyone have any experience with any of the synthetics (like KLASSE) out there?
im thinking of getting some klasse and topping it off with a coat of souverin?

I have also found, time and time again, that Zymol gives me the best results, with P21S and Blitz wax rather close seconds. I also find that a lot of the folks on autopia and other forums blast Zymol without ever having tried it. In fact, I personally know at least one "professional" detailer who blasted Zymol and hyped the products he used -- until I asked him how many times he'd tried Zymol and he confessed he'd never used it before. In any case, I've had Zymol Carbon last for awhile on one of my cars that was parked mostly in a garage. Rejex lasted considerably longer, but Zymol compared favorably to P21S and Blitz, at least in my case.

Then again, YMMV. Larry Reynolds at carecareonline.com always told me that what works for him might not work for me, and vice versa. Different towels, techniques, etc., can result in different outcomes. In the end, you just have to try everything for yourself.

And BTW, that car looks FANTASTIC.
