+1 on Zaino

I've used alot of products over the years... but the consistency of Zaino is just fantastic. Also a very easy to use product line.

+1  Consistent care care with correct techniques makes all the difference. As far as products go, most detailers will agree that Menzerna makes the best polishes...

Actually these days Meguiars 205 and 105 seem to be the favorites, but really correct techniques are more important than which brand of products you use. Autopia is an excellent place to learn technique. Main thing is stay away from car washes, if you must use a car wash use a touchless one. They don't clean as well as a hand wash but won't swirl your paint either. The best wax won't make your car look good if it's full of swirls.

I can live with swirls :D

Saying you can live with swirls is like saying you can live with herpes. sure, it isn't life threatening, but it definately looks bad.

I paid extra for the hand wash at a car wash last week. when i got home and looked at the car, i wanted to go back and start kicking people.

Don't forget the clay bar! That will remove most of the impurities and crap thats on your car's clear coat. Also if possible use a spot free rinse so that water spots don't embed in the clear coat. Had that happen with my car, cost me over 1G to get it looking right.

use the blue quick car detailing polishing spray from Griots garage, by far the best I've ever used. makes the car look new in 10 minutes.

The detailing spray, clay bar, and leather care products are nice.....but thats about it in my opinion...not impressed with their polishes or waxes

I've been looking around for products for the spring and came across autopia.org, a detailing site. Lots of information, reviews, and opinions.

I used Meguiars, Rejex, Zaino, Victoria Wax, Menzerna, Swissvax and Jetseal 109. Here's where I am today:

Chemical Guys Clay Bar & Citrus Wash
Menzerna Polishes (Intensive and Fine)
JetSeal 109
Swissvax
