I have 2007 525i silver on black leather, like new.
I want to know the list of products like (shiner, wax, or any other stuff) to keep my car shine from inside and outside. Please recomend good product to keep leather shine.

Thanks,
Sanjeev

Congrats on your new (to you) car :)

Just stay FAR away from car washes. Although not as easily noticeable on a silver car, the bristles will swirl and scratch the hell out of you car. Always keep a layer of wax on the car, you really can't go wrong with either Mothers or Meguiars wax. For the inside I reccomend either Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner or Meguiars Leather Cleaner/Conditioner Combo. Stay AWAY from Armour-all products. They have silicone based solutions that are counter productive. They also leave a cheap looking shine. What you want is a subtle luster, Lexol and Meguiars work very well for this.

Hope this helps :)

What's the minimum distance you'd recommend being from a car wash? I sometimes drive past one that's only about 25 yards away. Is that too close ? :P :D  Just kidding. I use a car wash twice a month. I can live with swirls :D

I say 45 meters would be the minimum safe distance

I can't stand swirls...make my eyes hurt

You know where you're going wrong don't you? Close your windows and stop letting the car-wash brushes make contact with your eyes. Simple really :D :P

Thanks for the great replies. I will go and look for Meguiars products.

I also have silver and have been very happy with Meguiar's NXT 2.0 paste. Leaves the paint feeling very slick and lasts a while. Just make sure the paint is cool to the touch, otherwise it gets very hard to wipe off.

I use Zaino.
My 535i is white color, so it doesn't shine as much as black.
This is my black A4 with Zaino product.

all the detailing nuts I know swear by Zaino.
