What material should i use to apply the wax to the car (I want to use rejex). Can i just use a towel/old tshirt?
Try these<---.
Good price, great, long lasting quality, washable and soft.
I would wash them about 10 times before using them to fuzz up the cotton.
They also selling clean, used rags that are way soft. I called them on this.
I prefer these to microfiber for applying wax.

I'd use a microfiber pad (and microfiber towels for buffing out) An old shirt will most likely make fine scratches.
Before using rejex, make sure to pre clean the paint so the wax will bond better to the surface.
Zaino Show car polish LOK (Z-1) will be great for this.

With proper care, these will last you years depending on the intensity of use
