Like everybody, I am always trying to find a better, easier, longer lasting wax for my beloved e60.

I have tried about a dozen products and have not really fallen in love with anything. So far, I have been the most happy with the Caranuba wax from Griots garage. It is easy to apply and makes my ride shine like never before. The problem is that it does not last very long.

Then, last night I came arcoss people talking about Swissvax and how it is the best.

So I researched it and am I just living under a rock or is this shite CRAZY expensive? Am I reading things wrong or is it really $1,100 to $2,500 for a container of this stuff? I find it hard to believe that is the case, but maybe it is.

Please somebody set me straight and let me know what the real deal is and where to buy it.

Thanks a ton!

-Brian

I love my e60 and all, but that is getting crazy! $130 is a lot to bite off for wax much less thousands of dollars! For $2500, you could invest that in a new paint job!

I guess I am not the enthusiast I thought I was!

in our area $2500 won't get your side skirts/front bumper /rear bumper painted

hey if $130 got you 40 applications that would be $3.25 a car not bad right.

that's about what I get per jar.

Hey Brian Whats up?

I purchased Lusso Oro from Phil and liked it allot. It was relatively inexpensive at $40. Currently I am looking at alternatives including chemical guys 50/50 and Svisswax Onyx just to try something different. I will let you know what I come up with.

Dion, good to hear from you. Did you finally get your diffusser painted?

We really lucked out on Quad_m. Even though it was agony to get our kits from him, at least we got them! I feel for all that have been screwed. Crazy.

Let me know on that wax.

I haven't done the math but I believe I may get more out of a jar of Swissvax than 40 applications.
