Good explanation, but polymers were overlooked. RejeX is neither wax nor polish.
Exactly. It's a polymer that "rejects" most road hazard chemicals, hence the name. And if you ever want to strip the layer of Rejex off your car, for whatever reason, just use Dawn instead of your typical car wash soap. This breaks down the polymer. Another thing to note. Don't use a wax or polish OVER the Rejex. You're not doing yourself any favors.

sort of like a slick clear coat. Its more of a protectant, but does make the existing paint glossy.

Hi,

I treated my E60 with JewelUltra's Diamondbrite about 3 months ago and I must say that I'm loving it more and more.

It appears that everytime I apply the Conserver after washing and rinsing, the paint is getting a higher gloss and is better protected from the elements, especially bird droppings. I must admit, that I wash the car once a week and apply the conserver after each wash, using 1 capful to 1/2 bucket of water. (I know the instructions say to use conserver once a month)

If anyone has a hard time removing the wax or polish residue just sprinkle a little "corn starch" on the area and the wax residue will wipe off very easy leaving a good shine.

Good tip, another tip is to dampen your microfiber/ towel with some quick detailer. seems to work a treat.

That's a great tip. Do you have to dilute the corn starch with water first or just pour it on dry? I would just want to make sure that this is not considered "abrasive", even though corn starch is so fine...

Just put some in an old spice bottle with the perforated top with larger holes like from 'flaked red pepper". then spriinkle it on. No water. Don't worry it is as soft as flour and will not scratch. works great. you will never go back to the old way.
