New car arriving next week
#1
Hi, i've got me new toy arriving late next week, its a silver grey 535d sport.
In the past i have never paid too much attention to cleaning of cars as i have never had anything new like this car.
As its a brand new car is there anything i should do straight away to help keep it looking good. Please bare in mind i am tottaly new to the detailing world, look on this forum there's lots of products and things it should and should not do.
Thanks
Roger (UK)

One layer of sealant after delivery, and one layer of wax a few months later. Then continue to wax regularly. Polish once every 6-12 months. But other people will always have better or more opinions. But thats what I've done with my cars so far and it works out fine..

Meguiar, Turtle (Ice to be specific), Zymol, and others have used and highly recommended Zaino, and Rejex. I only use the three I mentioned, because its readily available over here. I use Turtle Ice wax now, and Zymol to clean the interior, Meguiar is also good when you want a deep black color... Turtle is super shiny...
