My well-meaning mother-in-law decided to help me out by wiping down my car while we were away over Thanksgiving. My car was as dirty as I have ever let it get .... the results are not good.

I'm so angry I could *@#&$#*@$. I'm just sick over this.

Arrrg. I'm really sorry. No choice here; go to a super dealer. You might even consider a--oh I forget the term. But, it takes some clear coat off (naturally), but gives the ultimate shine for show cars. Someone help me here with the phrase I am looking for. There is nothing you will be able to do with an over-the-counter product.

Is wet sanding what I am trying to say? I still can't remember.

It like hitting me in the heart and it hurts very bad.
But this can be fix with just same waxing.
Not a big deal.
Take it to a pro beauty cleaning company and get them to give it a 3 coat wax and it me like new from the show room.
This is want I do every 3 months in HK.

I know how it feels. My stupid dog lifts his 2 front paws up from time to time to check for smth...i dunno probably to see if someone is inside and when he get down again he leaves marks and i have to care for this. But my dog doesn't have a developed brain. I dunno....
Probably i suspect your mother in law just sweapt the drit away with a cloth or smth without washing the car.
