It's a door panel surface

You need a good car detailing shop to polish the surface with a 1st coat of coarse-grained liquid polishing compound, 2nd coat with an intermediate one and a 3rd coat with a thin one. Try it on a panel and you will see if the result is worth it, then go on...

I think that you should take it to a professional detailer or if you do not want to then i would recomend that you try out Scratch X from meguiar's.It has great reviews.I dont think that waxing by itself will improve it much.

OUCH!!! I think thats the front hood.....having a jet black car...i had someone put their purse on top of the rear hatch and looked as if she laid it down and and searched her purse for her keys... and left s similar scratch but not that big...... iused scratch x...but i think yours needs some pro help.....goodluck!!! ericd

As long as the scratches do not penetrate through to the primer, a pro detail shop should be able to buff those out with a rotary buffer, unless you're handy with a Porter-Cable random orbital bufffer. In fact, you'll also end up with a beautiful high gloss if you have them do the whole car.
