Pls post step-by-step instructions on how u did it.. I would like to attempt it soon.

I took the walmart grocery cover on my hand and wiped on front hood, I can feel lot of bumps. Definitely need to clay it.

Simple...buy a clay bar and a quick detail spray and start claying. You want the area you clay to always be wet, so the clay wipes right over. Every now and then, check the clay for dirt and grime and re"mush" the clay so you get a clean area to continue the job. As an FYI, I got the Mothers Clay bar which came in a box with a spray. It's really easy man.

Oh coool.. but i just waxed with Meguairs NXT Cranuba wax, after 2hrs used Meguiars quick detailer and buffed it.

So next time when I clay, I just wash the car with some Armorall or something and just clay full car and apply Quick detailer I guess (dont need to wash car with Dish Detergent or anything right)

Ideally after claying (which is for surface bonded contaminants), you should use a paint cleaner (to remove chemical contaminants), then a polish and finally a wax.
Jf you are using Meguiar's products (as I do) , then:

Quick Clay
Paint Cleaner
Deep Crystal Polish
Gold Class Wax or NXT wax

im sure you had awesome results. i remember when i had my e60 first clayed after about a year and a half of owning it. smooth is the perfect word. i was surprised how most of the hairline scratches on the paint were gone too. but you did the job yourself.. good stuff
