Ink mark removal

I was giving a ride to someone and unfortunately she accidentally put a two inch blue ball point pen mark on the interior of the door. It is on the textured plastic (I think that's plastic).
I'll probably forget about it eventually, but it bugs me for now because it is quite noticeable. I've tried everything I can think of to get it off (hairspray, mineral spirits, ink remover, etc.) Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

OFF! Deep Woods insect repellant (with DEET). Not kidding. Use the unscented kind.
Spay some on a rag and then rub the wetted rag on the ink stain. Be careful because you can take off more than just the ink.
I've used it on a blue ballpoint pen ink stain on leather seats .... worked perfectly.
