My wife wants to leave because I wash and wax my car all the time. She thought I was bad with our E39, until the new one arrived. One day I'm going to come home and find my wife and my E60 gone forever.

for me it's therapeutic to at least wipe off the brake dust EVERY night. i look at it as exercise and clearing the mind.
a quick wipe down after dinner is a ritual for me now!

washing and waxing is so worth it.. i washed and waxed my car on friday, it stayed clean throughout the weekend. today it rained and im just like "DAMN" but it stopped in the middle of the day.. after school i came out to the parking lot and all these cars had water marks and what not.. started thinking about my car. today's rain was the first rain. i get to my car at the end and it looks like it has just been washed.. was clean with the exception of a few little puddles still on the roof and the rims with all the brake dust but thats all.
