I go to a car wash a couple times a week. I'd rather deal with some light swirls/scratches from the car wash than deal with rust.

My Ride: 550i 2009 Mod. with tints all around. Got Splitter and Spoiler coming. May do an exhaust.
Stays in the garage. When out its only on the the right days. If caught in a any snow from a few furries to wicked snow or Rain and sleet or god forbid a Hail burst, then the next clear day its warm to hot water with Bimma car shampoo in a bucket and a Microfiber mite, a rinse, and a mircofiber towel dry.... and yes the Final Inspection does come out along with the windex! Now the wheels and rubber need that speacial TLC too... Hey! I did this for big trucks all the time... the Bimma is a walk in the park. DTD

My advice is to take 1,2,3,4,5,6 grand, whatever u can afford (and are willing to be seen in) and buy a beater to just drive for the winter season. You not only conserve the structural integrity of your bimma but also retain the miles.
Please see my signature file and note the old Toyota. Poor thing is rusting away. But at least it has an automatic undercarriage anti-rust system - also know as an oil leak. My biggest problem is finding a place to store them all.

My Ride: 2004 545i - Bone stock... help!
I plan on washing my car less, as there are less dust storms in the winter months. I also plan on driving with my windows down and sun roof open almost the entire time, except when on bluetooth. It's going to be rough, but me and the bimmah will pull through
