I asked this questions before but the posting was moved to the detailing forum and died there.

Here I am asking again: How do you clean the finger prints, soap residue, and hard water marks off the high gloss shadow line trims? I've tried everything and nothing works. Should I try to use a plastic polish?

I think its some kind of plastic not normal paint. But i am not 100% sure.

First time that i washed my car i then dried it with a microfiber towel. The whole car including the trim.It worked really good.

A plastic cleaner would work fine i think. Or even glass cleaner
