No you wont scratch you lens , but you got to be careful when wetsanding, even pressure with the correct sand papers are the key.
The headlights still look brand new now
Going to do it on my 530i as well, i will take more pictures if you guys are interested (Maybe a step by step write up)

Please do the write up! The lights look much better after wet sanding, I just need the detailed DIY with product info so I make sure I have all the tools I need to get the job done.

Nice job keith!! i did it a bit diffrent then you though with the wetsand section, i will post up a diy tonight! Here is a before and after of my lights. On the third picture i forgot to wipe down underneath the light (makes it look like damage is still there, but everything is gone!) light looks so clean and new after doing what i did!! Will take better pictures in the day for the do it yourself.
