I am a detailer and getting polish on rubber trim would be a big deal for me, if I can't get it off I would pay to replace the trim. On my own car, I would replace it right away.

Some people care about the condition of their car more than others. Not only cars, but the way we dress too. Some people would be fine with an old dirty white tee, but I like a new crisp one.
