Just wondering everyone's Pros/Cons from using a Clay Bar while cleaning your ride...

There are no cons. Just make sure you apply a few coats of a good protectant/wax each time you clay, as the clay strips everything off.

Roger that. Appreciate the feedback... I always try to keep her in the best of shape. [Sure beats the hell out of sitting at the computer all day when I can be out sweating and making her look nice! ]

And whatever you do, make sure you have plenty of spray lube in your other hand, so that the clay bar never hits a dry spot. You want that bar lubed up as much as possible (god, that sounded gross. Hahahaha!).

The con is when using Clay Away 3 do Not apply much pressure.
don't ask how I know this and as others indicated use plenty of lube.

As others have said, use plenty of spray and don't press too hard. I would add that you should knead and reshape the clay frequently so as to avoid an impurity stuck to the clay's surface from scratching your paint. I found this the hard way, even though I thought I was doing OK. Also, take your time and do a small area at a time. The results are well worth the extra effort. GL
