Just secure it with some lag bolts into the concrete...I'm sure no one will mind
Don't think I'll go that route, but what do you guys think would the best way to weigh down the tent on concrete?

I don't suggest you do that. To begin with, it will take at least 15 to 20 minutes to set it up. Second, for the size you need to cover your car, it will be heavy to carry.Third, you need to anchor or weight it so the wind won't move it and lastly, the tent might not last that long from being assembled and dismantled every time you wash your car which would be at least one's a week. I have one I use for occasional backyard parties and I had it for 2 years now and it is starting to break already

It's surprising how much damage a tent pole can do.

From what I've seen it looks like there are options that can be set up in under 10 minutes by one person. Yes, it could be heavy based on the size. Looks like a 20 x 12.5 is about 130 pounds. Yes, I definitely need to weigh down the poles.

Pretty sure I won't use every time I wash the car. And I definitely do not wash once a week. A) I don't have that time and There is often rain in the forecast within the next week so I don't slave over a wash if I know it's going to rain in 2 days. This would be more for the high effort detailing that would be every 1-3 months.

Probably worth it then. You can pick the day, time, etc. for a detail. Good luck.

You're apparently searching at a 12x16 pop-up awning ... or application a abate one and affective it about as you plan from one of your car to another. I've apparent the abate ones in the broad clubs (BJ's etc) too

It all depends on how hard it is for you to find a covered space to detail your car. I'd say, skip the tent, since you won't be able to secure it to the ground and just seek out a space where you can do the details in the shade. Having extensive experience setting these things up (used to work trade shows and had to set this crap up all the time for several years), I wouldn't recommend it, unless you'll keep it up for several days at a time - which, I have a feeling, might not be possible, unless you do it in a private driveway, or smth... either way, I wouldn't recommend it, unless you REALLY can't get around it.

i would check with the apartment complex. i know if i did anything like that here i would almost instantly get a warning. second time i would get evicted. You might be wasting your money on this thing.
