My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

I have 2004 E60 Premium Package so it comes with black dakota leather.
What parts in the car is leather?
Dashboard?
Middle Console?

Summed up, if it has some "padded" feeling to it then it's leather. Most everything else is vinyl. Especially the dash.

I have an 06 premium package and there is leather everywhere, dash, console, doors. I just cooked my interior today with Lexol conditioner/cleaner - lathered everything with my hands and left it in the sun with the windows up for a few hours. Then wiped it down with an absorbent towel and finished off with micrfiber towel. Amazing how much dirt the heat loosened up - and the leather is soft as it has ever been. Not real shiny which is good, but matted finish. Since this worked so well, I am now thinking of trying the Leatherique kit which is a two-step process. Hope my clothes don't get stained when I head for work tomorrow but worth the effort.

Nice interior!
But I have to ask, is there any "padded" feel to it, I know it can't be just a solid piece of leather going across there?
