BMW leather care
#1
I have had my car for a couple years now and have never used leather care products. I just bought bmw leather care stuff at the dealer and applied it. Looks good and shines/conditions the leather nicely. Does anyone use this or have found a better leather product that would condition the leather better and make it last longer and nicer over time?

My Ride: 2006 550i - Metallic Mystic Blue, Sport Package, STEPTRONIC Auto Transmission, Leather Interior, Power Front Seats w/Lumbar Support, Xeonon Head Lights (Angel Eyes), Park Distance Control (PDC), 6-CD Changer, Adaptive Head Light, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, Professional Radio, Premium Sound Package 13-Speakers Logic 7, Weather Band Radio, Voice Control (for Bluetooth Telephone Operatoin), 18" Run Flats, Rain-Sensing Wipers, Front/Rear Heated Seats, Flat Tire Monitor (FTM), Moonroof, Fold Down Rear Seats, Hardwired Valentine One
I have used them as well on my old '99 540i/6 without any issues. But I now much prefer to use a wet (water only) on a fiber cloth instead - this seem to work just fine too. Doesn't seem to leave any chemical residue.

I've never tried the Swissvax brand, so I can't comment on that.
However, my other car also has leather seats, and it's a convertible, so they are always dirty from road dust, and they really need good UV protection. This product has worked GREAT for me. No chemical/oily residue, and the smell is quite pleasant as well. Hard to describe, but it's definitely not a "cleaning product" kind of smell, no chemical odor, nothing like that. It's great.
Raggtopp leather cleaner and protectant
Edit: And it's considerably cheaper than Swissvax, and it's available in the US. LOL

autoglym leather care and leather cleaner. Love the stuff and have been using it for over 15 years now. Cost is also a good factor for me to use it.
