Anyone recommend an installer in the Bay Area for the 3M film? Dealer wants $895, I'm sure if I go directly to whomever they use it's less than half that.

Try contacting this guy he did my MINI 2 years ago and I'm really really happy with his work. Happier than the new guy I found. New guy is still good tho.

I thought of have double layer for my bumper. Can the film be layered? Will it hold?

You don't need it. A single layer will be just fine.

Ya one layer is enough... if you really want thicker layer.. ask them to use the Head light film for your bumper... its thicker... by quite a bit.

BUT some installers get cheap and just use the regular thinner film thats for the hood and bumper on the lights too.

I've already done the bumper, hood and mirrors. Why not the headlights...didn't think of it and the dealer didn't ask...my fault!
