I don't let anyone eat food in my car. I keep the interior empty, free of clutter. I keep after the dust about once a month. I've only polished the seats twice using BMW leather care. I do get a musty smell when the air conditioner is used infrequently. I put a bunch of deoderant spray into the cabin intakes, but they did not fix the musty heater/ac. I vacuum the carpets once a month, but have never shampooed them.

What is the best way to get that new car smell? I want the car to smell like a car. I don't want it to smell like a fruity perfume or a bathroom deoderizer. I just want it to smell as clean as it looks.

What do you guys recommend?

Yankee Candle sells a leather scented auto air freshener...same concept as the little tree above, but leather scented.

for the 1Z Einszett Klima-Cleaner, it just cleans the AC to give you a fresh smell right?
I don't think that will give you a "new car" smell.

what kind of leather treatment I can give to my E60 to get the nice leather smell.
