I'm on the east coast. I'm in NY.

I used to have an orbital buffer but read that it could produce more swirl marks so I've been doing everything by hand. I've been seeing ads for the Griot's random orbital buffer and I guess because it's random, it prevents swirl marks. Maybe I'll pick one up since it'll definitely reduce the labor time compared to doing it by hand. Or I'll just have Crabcake send me his.

I QUIT! Ok, I tried to Zaino my 5 and I'm not happy at all. Don't get me wrong, I think the Zaino products are great. I guess I'm just no good at claying. Everything was going fine until I clayed. I followed the directions and didn't allow the bar to be contaminated. Yet I've got these streak marks that I can't wash off. I used tha AIO product and it didn't come out. I don't have time for this anymore!. I guess I'll just get it professionally done and follow up with weekly car washes. This bites because I really enjoy detailing, however, I don't want to mess up my vehicle any further.

Have any pictures of the streaks? Are you using a generous amount of lube when you're claying?

I'm so pissed off and embarrassed at the same time, I didn't take any pics. I thought I used enough lube. Maybe I'm not handling the clay well enough or just heavy handed.
