That pretty much describes my situation, too, Rudy. We'll get on with it eventually, but not until she says she's ready. She could drive the E39-6 OK, but did make a DEAD stop once without using the clutch. OUCH! SMG this time.

Definitely color!
I added all the available options... which aren't that many in HK. most options are 'standards' on the 545. And we dont get GPS services (too crowded with tall bldgs)
But color was TOUGH.
I was choosing between Silvery Gray, Ti Silver, and Ti Gray II.
The tough thing was that even looking at them side by side, they all look different depending larely on lighting angle, view angle, lighting, light color/temp etc. The colors are SO confusing. Even the salesperson has to look at the color code under the hood sometimes to make sure what colors we are looking at. Ti Silver was not confusing. but the Silver Gray and Ti Gray are. Silver Gray can look gray (non metallic, silver at all) under shades, and under some lighting, it just looks blue. RARELY does it actually look 'silver' gray. It only has that very sharp look under good direct sunlight.
Ti Gray II can look brownish at times and sometimes it has a dark green tint. again, it's very ambiguous.
at the end i went with Ti Gray II. Too many Silver Gray on the streets of HK already...

Something like this would be nice? Extreme lowering on 20" rims.

Thanks Stu. The 124s look just great sitting in the lowered suspension. Nice!

Malc,
On a limited budget my hardest choices were wheels and colour. Not having seen titanium grey before I ordered was a risk but on delivery was very pleased with the colour. Having seen threads above I do not know whether my car is Titanium grey or Titanium grey II - car was manufactured Jan/Feb 2004 - is there any difference in the paint code?
I went for 116 Alloys as like you I was worried 138's or 122's would look as though wheel arches were not filled - however pics of Dr. D's 122's look very good but do not know if he has lowered suspension.
Mark-Yorkshire.

I find it too low, like scrapping the arch easily. But 20" seems more suitable for the E60

Stu's 15mm looks just nice.
