In the end we can find out in which country we should buy our next new cars

to compare properly we should exclude all taxes

I'll start with my country : Belgium (between France, Germany and Holland)

official standard price today is: 38.058 euro or 60.504 US Dollar at the current exchange rate of today

to compare this price to the standard of living in each country, we should also mention prices of very common goods
any suggestions ? (a normal bread costs 2 euro and a beer in the pub is 1,5 to 2,0 euro)

with VAT of 21% in Belgium, the price is 46.050 euro

but surely far away from ? 60-65k

The price mentioned from denmark is also including taxes I presume ...
I know there is in Denmark beside about 20% VAT an extra cartax of 180% of something like that
hence the "nice" price of 110.000 euro
