My Ride: 2008 550 6 speed Carbon Black, Gray Dakota Leather, Black Bamboo Trim, Sport Package, Cold Weather Package, Sun Shades, Aux Input
My 545 is scheduled to arrive at the NY port 6/19. I am having touble keeping my patience the closer it gets.
How long does it take once the boat comes in until it gets to the dealer? I was told 2-3 days at the prep center and 1 day to get to Boston MA
Does that sound right?
I have a 2003 330i that I am trading in (which I love) - I can't imagine how much fun this beast is going to be.

That sounds about right-- about 5 days from port to performance center to dealer.

My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.
Sounds about right. I had a 3+ week delay due to recall. It is murder.
All I have to say is "Suck it up" The rest of us have and ther reward is more than worth the wait. Enjoy and congrats.

Man I feel your pain. My car is due to sail tomorrow from Bremerhaven, have 24 transit days, arriving in Port Hueneme on 7/10. If you guys are right I should FINALLY be driving my 545i on 7/15. It may as well be christmas. Who said patience is a virtue????????????

Did your car arrive at the dealer yet?
I called the transport company (Baverian Auto) on Friday and spoke with someone in the Jersey City location (where the NE cars get shipped from) and they said they hadn't shipped it yet - I am not sure why the car/ship arrived on Sunday and by Friday it still wasn't on a truck up to MA. I hope it got on a truck by the end of Friday/Saturday so I might see it by mid-week this week.

I am planning on Rejex-ing it as soon s I get it home!
