ebmcs03,

Yes so far everything is on schedule (your schedule). I am only about 30% on the 190, transport. Everything about that is 100% because its been completed. I don't know what you mean by 'everything says 100%?'

I've told the story before, and I don't know if mine was a case of end-of-year hurry up and get it delivered or not...but...My car arrived at port Charleston on December 29th, went thru customs, VPC and everything else, and arrived at my dealer in Pittsburgh on December 31st. It sat at the dealer through the New Year's weekend, and I took delivery on Tuesday, Jan. 4th. I was amazed. The car was delivered in perfect condition. Hope your story is a good one, too. Enjoy your 5!
I need to revise my last post, the dealer just called, after saying he'd have the car by yesterday (Friday Statement), it looks like the car won't be at the dealer until next Monday or Tuesday, with an outside shot at Friday.? That fits the 10 day schedule you all have expected.

It's frustrating to have gotten geared up to pick up the car in the next 24 hours, then find out your wait is another week or so.

I can honestly say I have never before seen anyone track the manufacture and delivery of his new car using Microsoft Project. You are clearly amped about your new vehicle.

My car arrives in Charleston on February 16th on the Caribbean Highway. The dealer emailed me that it would be ready to pick up this month, but gave no date yet. I am ready.

It gives me something to do while I wait. It also helps others in estimating their delivery date as a tracking tool.

Yes, so far its tracking to 100% of your schedule. It was off by 2days on ornament's delivery. I had 1/27, but it ended up as 1/25. Pretty close anyways.

Yeah, at least I have been able to pass the time until now with tracking the car through BMW NA and the ship on the web, now it's just waiting.

It looks like our cars were produced around the same time. I believe my production started around Jan. 13th, 2005. I was told by BMW my 545 is on its way on a ship, but they (800 number customer service) didn't know the ships name yet. I'm in California so the arrival port is down in Oxnard/Ventura, California. Thanks for sharing the projected timeline. My guess is I have about 1 month to go still.

Mine got into New York and was delivered in PA.
It took 15 days from the ship to the dealer. They gave me two dates and then changed them again and again.
Is was the hardest time for me, knowing the car was less than 2 hours away yet soooo hard to get!
