My Ride: 2005 545i Titanium Grey Metallic SMG, Black Nasca Leather, Sport Package, Logic7, Comfort Ventilated Seats, Sat Radio, Split Folding Rear Seats
Anyone have any idea how long after Owner's Circle posts a VIN number before the car is on it's way and or in your hands? OC just updated within the last 24 hours with a VIN and I was curious what your experiences may have been. Thanks.

My Ride: Soon to be 2005 5-series
BMW NA told me that once production is completed (155), it takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks pending conditions on transport, VPC and your dealer.
Here's a snap-shot of mine which seems to be close to yours. I based it off of EBMCS03's dates. Take a look and see if it makes sense.

Forgot to mention that I received my VIN on Jan. 12, 2005. Call BMW NA and they told me that production started today Jan. 13, 2005 and that the production completion will be on Jan. 20, 2005. I hope it makes on the Otello Vessel on Jan. 27, 2005. That will be 6 days ahead of schedule!
This is what I saw on the Wallenius Wilhelmsen website:
Does anyone know if this would be the correct vessel if my car is ready on Jan.20, 2005?

If I have the car by the end of February I'd be fired up. I'm on the east coast so hopefully that will speed things a little. Our orders are very close to the same timeline, I'll check with the dealer next week to get a more specific status code. Thanks for the information.
